MHP(in ligature) - ΘV The Virgin, nimbate, seated facing on throne, wearing pallium and maphorium, holding with both hands nimbate head of infant Christ on her breast. Rev. [ICAAKIOC ΔЄC / X/AP]/X/M Isaac II standing facing on the left, wearing crown and chlamys, holding cruciform scepter in his right hand and akakia in his left, crowned by the Archangel Michael, nimbate, standing facing on the right in military attire, holding jewelled scepter in his left hand; in field above, Θ, to right, X / M. DOC 2b. SB 2002. Sharply struck and unusually attractive. Light scratches and with a minor die break on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
